you know that feeling...that subtle, nauseating, suffocating feeling that this isn't working and nothing you do matters; often nurtured by a lack of success, clarity, and introspection
and so the instinct is to reactively shift your perspective on your goals, desires, and expectations. which only further convolutes what you actually want and need
7 years ago this was my story. I went from graduation college to pursuing a career as a costume designer, then wardrober, then theatre tech, then generalist graphic designer, logo designer, brand identity designer, sometimes photographer, to product designer, interaction designer and on and on and on, never actually taking the time to breath into myself and reflect on what it was I actually wanted from a career
my lack of clarity, focus, and introspection presented me with wall after wall of failure and prevented me from discovering what my true passions where
fortunately, i was able to learn from each failure, and discover resources that helped me slow down and figure out what it was I actually wanted, and what I was truly passionate about. the results of that 7 year journey is imsoiconic: a creative service business i designed to support you on your own journey towards clarity, focus, and introspection, using brand strategy tools
